It will protect you from injuries and scrapes and reduces impact to the temple, ears, cheekbones, nose and jawline. A front placed raster provides full protection for your face. The raster can also be de-attached for lighter sparring where you need more oversight. The velcro closures ensures a tight fit to prevent the guard from moving.
